JULY 2010 - Little League World Series
SEPT 2010 - 13 yr old hits homer!

MARACAY, VENEZUELA – Tamara Holmes became the first USA Baseball Women’s National Team player to hit an out-of-the park home run in
the team’s 21-0 win over South Korea Sunday 8/15/10
in World Cup action. Holmes also became the first player to go yard in consecutive at-bats as the outfielder drove in six runs on two hits, including
belting a grand slam in her second at-bat.
Australia is looking for players for their season!

Their season runs October to March and they would cover the costs of airfare, housing, and help find housing and a part-time 6 month working visa job
for living expenses and spending money. They play 1 game a week on the weekends. They will want someone that can help teach the game to others and
help build the program. In addition to being an exceptional pitcher, one that can hit and play a position would be ideal. The costs to the player will be the
$250 placement fee paid by his company, a passport if they don't have one, and a work-visa, but some clubs reimburse that expense.

We are saddened to say Alexis T.
Busch was swept overboard in a race
by a series of waves of the Farollon
Islands on Sat. April 14th, she was just
26 years old.
She was a huge advocate for women's
baseball and she will be sorely
missed. We will start an annual
Women's Baseball Tournament in
2013 dedicated to her on the West
Coast in 2013. For more information
